Great, except for email.

UltaHost's mailserver has a problem. IPs are frequently listed on spam blocking websites, such as Spamhaus, making sending email a huge problem. Many support tickets had no effect. I finally moved email to Zoho.com. UltaHost a great service if you don't need to send email.

Ticks all the boxes

Hosting: Very happy! Never experienced any downtime and the shop is loading quickly.
Email: Worse interface than Gmail but it works
Support: Only had to contact them once and the person helped me right away
Prices: It would hurt to lower the prices a bit

Reliable hosting with a few quirks

Great service with reliable support

I've been using UltaHost for a few months now, and overall, it's been a solid experience. Their pricing is reasonable, especially considering the performance and speed I've been getting. My sites have been running smoothly, with hardly any downtime. Whenever I've had questions or issues, their customer support has been quick and really helpful, which is a huge plus. Great value, performance, speed

I've been using Ultahost for 18 months. I have 15 Wordpress sites that I manage. The price for a VPS is fantastic and the speed is great. Support is super and response time is excellent. There are 2 drawbacks compared to other hosts I've used. You need to setup and configure a website from 2 separate places; the host login and then your cPanel. Not a big deal once you find your way around but it's not as intuitive as other hosts such as Dreamhost. My other complaint is the fact my email addresses that I set up always seem to end up in the recipients' spam box. A handful of users accessing my websites have gotten the "unsafe site" warning while trying to access my sites despite the fact I am using the Ultahost free SSL on all my sites. I've worked with Ultahost support regarding these issues but the issue still occurs periodically. I never had this with the other 2 hosts I've used over the past 15 years.

Not impressed with Ultahost

After reading about the performance of Ultahost and being told a VDS would speed up my website i made the choice to migrate to Ultahost. What a disaster that was! Not only did the migration take longer than expected but all my emails were not working as they had been blacklisted due to me having a new IP address. None of this was mentioned to me before signing up which should be told to anyone who is thinking of switching over. Support was somewhat helpful but not helpful enough. They were always telling me how to fix the issue and passing it onto me instead of them fixing it. Have had more email issues in the past few days and my website went down completely because they said they were upgrading the servers! What kind of a hosting service is this when you're trying to run a business.
